Rheem RTEX-24 SN: G171902714 Open Box Professional Classic Series 24 KW, 240 Volt, 100 Amp, 5.9 Gallon Per Minute Indoor Electric On Demand Tankless Hot Water Heater 

Important: This RTEX-24 Serial Number G171902714 has never been used, but it was shipped to a customer who after receiving the unit did connect the water line. Prior to connecting the electrical they saw they ordered the wrong unit. The water lines were disconnected and the unit was returned back. There are remnants of pipe tape on the hot water outlet and cold inlet. The water inlet was over tightened, twisting it a bit. There is also a small dent on the back of the unit that runs along the bottom edge. The unit is still considered new by Rheem and fully under warranty since the electric was not hooked up and the unit has never been used or registered. If the cold water inlet leaks or if there are any other issues with the unit it will be replaced with a brand new unit. However, there cannot be a UPS claim filed for damage. The unit and packaging are sold as is. If unit is defective it will be fixed or replaced with manufacturer warranty.
